Spoken Japanese Basics Course (LA1210) and Reading & Writing Basics Course (LA1560) were conducted in IIT-Hyderabad from Jan to Mar 2020.
248 students completed LA1210 and 126 students completed LA1560 this year. This course aims for students to acquire the basic grammatical knowledge and command of the language communicatively in a classroom. The individual final oral exam and reading exam were conducted on our LMS (Learning Management System).
The number of students is increasing gradually every year.
We have developing an online large-scale Japanese language education system since 2016, and now Japanese language course in IITH is also an important platform of collaborative research for promoting relationship between India and Japan.
Due to COVID-19 issues as a major trigger, we are currently preparing a fully online Japanese course on a distance learning platform by this September.
